EMSA Samsun congresses are large-scale organizations that reflect our academic vision. In these events that encourage scientific production, we create a qualified learning and debating environment by bringing together experts from different disciplines and students.
With our meticulously planned content and strong organizational structure, we successfully carry out academic events with high participation; moving our competence in the academic field further every year.
EMSA SAMSUN 1ST NATIONAL UROLOGY STUDENT CONGRESS
The EMSA Samsun National Urology Student Congress, held on November 2-4, 2024, at the Ondokuz Mayıs University Atatürk Congress and Culture Center, went down in history as Türkiye's first student congress in this field.
Throughout the congress, medical school students from all over Türkiye came together with experts in their fields and deeply examined critical and current topics such as Urooncology, Surgery and Psychiatry in Trans+ Individuals, and Being a Female Urologist. In addition to theoretical sessions, participants had the opportunity to develop their practical skills through the da Vinci robot experience and various workshops.
Following the intensive scientific program, participants crowned our congress accompanied by the natural beauties of Samsun with a social party, gala dinner, and a trip to Vezirköprü Şahinkaya Canyon.
We would like to thank all our professors who supported us, especially our Congress Advisor Prof. Dr. Ender Özden and the OMÜ Department of Urology; our Organizing Committee working with great dedication, and all participants.

"Onco'25 Cells Pushing Beyond Borders"
The EMSA Samsun Second National Student Congress "OnCo'25: Cells Pushing Beyond Borders", with congress consultancy led by Prof. Dr. Güzin Demirağ, Head of the Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine Department of Medical Oncology, and Prof. Dr. Bahiddin Yılmaz, Faculty Member of the Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine Department of Medical Oncology, and presided over by Congress President Nisa Nur Tunçdamar, was held on December 5-6-7, 2025, at the Ondokuz Mayıs University Atatürk Congress and Culture Center.
The congress, which included topics such as cancer prevention, early diagnosis, current treatment approaches, and multidisciplinary tumor boards, aimed to raise awareness among medical students in the field of oncology and help them gain a scientific perspective. Throughout the congress, innovative treatment options, clinical trials, and preventive medicine practices were discussed, increasing both the academic and social awareness of the participants. Students had the opportunity to come together with expert physicians in their fields to acquire valuable experiences and knowledge that will contribute to their professional development.
