Charity Bazaars and Concerts to Support Children with Leukemia

LÇDK (Charity Bazaar and Concerts to Support Children with Leukemia) is a social responsibility organization carried out since 2013 to touch the dreams of children receiving treatment at Ondokuz Mayıs University Hospital, to provide them with moral support, and to raise social awareness. This solidarity movement, which started under the leadership of our professor Gökhan İnat, has grown over the years and become a sustainable volunteer project in partnership with EMSA Samsun, IVSA Samsun, OMÜYET, and OMÜ VFÖT communities. This movement of kindness aims to reach all children receiving treatment in the hospital and to realize their small but meaningful dreams.

Within the scope of the organization, concerts, charity bazaars, and various social responsibility events are organized every year. While concerts build morale and awareness through the unifying power of art and music, charity bazaars are among the important events that transform volunteer effort into solidarity. Through these efforts, both social awareness is raised and positive contributions are made to the lives of the children.

Volunteer students and team members take an active role at every stage of the planning, organization, and implementation processes; creating a strong solidarity network with the joint efforts of different communities. LÇDK continues its work as a long-term and effective movement of kindness maintained through the cooperation of university communities.

Little Dreams of Big Hearts aims to bring a smile to children's faces and support their hopes through the joint efforts of volunteers who believe that kindness grows by sharing.
